The 4th Beijing Brain Conference (BBC) was held in Beijing from August 14–16, 2026. Established in 2020, BBC is a biennial international conference on brain science initiated by the Chinese Institute for Brain Research, Beijing (CIBR), in collaboration with partner institutions in China and abroad. CIBR, Nature Portfolio, the Beijing Institute of Brain and Intelligence, the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and the School of Brain and Intelligence, Peking Union Medical College, co-hosted the 2026 meeting.
Under the theme “From Molecules to Circuits: Toward Interventions for Brain Disorders,” the conference covered topics ranging from neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorders to neurodegeneration, neural injury, brain–computer interfaces, neuroengineering, and therapeutic strategies for brain disorders. The meeting brought together researchers from more than 200 institutions in China and abroad and featured presentations by 49 invited scientists. The poster program included 99 posters from 36 institutions.
Yingjun Tang, Xiangyuan Peng, Fengjun Ma, Huixin Lin, and Qiyue Zhang represented our lab at the conference and presented posters on their latest research.
