Congratulations to Qianru on successfully defending her doctoral thesis at CIBR!
Qianru joined the Lab in 2021 as a Ph.D. student in the joint doctoral program between CIBR and Capital Medical University. During her Ph.D. studies, she investigated the neural mechanisms of adaptive reward evaluation in the orbitofrontal cortex, with a focus on how OFC neurons encode reward attributes such as delay and magnitude and integrate expected uncertainty to support flexible learning and behavior.
